New creations by me...

I got a little busy this week and created a couple of new things. Inspired by the west, I found an old cowboy boot that belonged to a distressed cowboy and so I talked him out of it and used some pheasant feathers, dried pod okra, reindeer moss and mixed it all together for a recycled concoction...These can be found at The Bus Station in Colquitt, GA or you can follow us at http://www.thebusstationgallery.blogspot.com/ or at http://www.liviandcompany.wordpress.com/
Retailing for $55. Did I mention a Tony Llamos Boot?

Poppies inspired me while travelling in Montana so I painted these on an old window..
Retailing for $75. Ready to hang with burlap twine and accented with vintage cloth napkin.

I did this arrangement in Montana for the Fourth Celebration. Fred is a big hunter and lover of the outdoors and so I found it only fitting to include deer antlers, wildflowers, pheasant feathers and our old Grand Old Flag.

The Tempature Rising...

Okay, back to reality...Heat Index rising to over 100 degrees tomorrow. Montana spoiled me with it's cool nights and moderate, gorgeous 70 degree weather. I was about to post some pics of the wildflowers in Montana but I have to go get our dog food from the big city of Jakin, GA..I got the wrong kind yesterday so I have to drive about 10 miles (one way to pick it up.) However; I can show you a picture of the new French Brittany Spaniels on the block for a quick bit of entertainment....But I hope to have the wildflowers up soon.
Our new kids on the block...1 Day old...

Now for a few of the Montana Wildflower Pictures...

A few shots taken in the Belgrade ~ Spring Creek Community..A gorgeous site from Montana and now back to our southern roots in Southwest Georgia....

Wild South Welcome Home

We returned from the Wild West last night..What a trip!...I'm truly amazed by the west and the way the western spirit  grabs your heart  as you return over and over and each time, revisiting, the stronghold is a little more fierce. I'll have days and days of blog pictures as I tried to really capture places and things that got my attention...We visited antique stores, museums, western leather, belt, boot and jewelry stores in Montana and Wyoming. Cody was definitely beautiful and adventuresome with the rodeo and the Buffalo Bill Museum Center was crazy entertaining and I'm not a big museum fan. (five under one roof). I eturned with lots of ideas in my head and hopefully will be able to pull of them off....More to come later
