Well the first day of autumn came and went last week. The temperatures didn't reflect much of a seasonal sort of day but the air is dry and the farmers continue to harvest the crops like no tomorrow. Peanut season is in full swing and cotton pickin' will follow close behind.. We, at The Bus Station in Colquitt, GA are gearing up for Swamp Gravey season that begins this Thursday and will follow every weekend through the month of October.http://www.swampgravey.com/ Check it out..The retailers love this time of year and again in the spring when buses of tourists pour into the area to take in a little local community theater, fine dining and local shopping.
