LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Means KEEP! KEEP! KEEP!.

I have been in Panama City Beach the past couple of days, spending time with my daughters and trying to catch up on some much needed rest from our trip last week on the 127 Yard Sale (i'm getting there). Anyway I have lots of new finds and new ideas to transform some "trash to treasure". A couple of weeks ago, I started making the Belt Buckles with the vintage beads and baubles that I find around and so after realizing that I wanted to have one of my own to wear, I created a personal buckle that I knew I wouldn't part with. I found all the little trinkets and treasures that pile up in your jewelry drawer and just sit there lifeless for years and years. You don't want to throw away or give away so they just lie dormant in the dark. So this buckle has been worn proudly, first to Livi's one day, and then on the first day scavaging (is that a word?) well you know what I mean, on the 127 corridor yard sale as it's maiden voyage. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE so it's a keeper. Take a look
My Grandmother's Broach in the middle with her earring in the right corner..A camp treasure (dogwood sterling ring top (left corner) high school senior key, sterling earring charm my hubby gave me when we were dating one year for Christmas, a fly fishing pin I purchased in Pennsylvania flea market in the 80's, my daughter's baby ring (with turquoise, loved it back then too), metal cross, sorority lavelier, and I filled in with freshwater pearls and vintage baubles and beads..

A little bit closer view...Now my keepsakes have come out of hiding and lovin' their new life!
