New Beginnings all Over the Place..Now What?

This is a preview of my new beginnings...Can't you tell?

It seems this season is full of new beginnings for me, my family, my business, my new place of worship, my new "empty nest" at home and the list goes on and on...I know it's not all about me but it does affect the way I plan my days, weeks, weekends, evenings and so forth. I love the thought of living in the moment and for the most part I do but my weekly work schedule will take me back to The Bus Station in Colquitt, GA http://www.thebusstationgallery.blogspot.com/ with fresh ideas, new design and lots of lovin' to finish out the third and fourth quarters of 2010.  Now if you take a look at my house at the moment, you may be able to tell that there's not been a whole lot of attention from the "domestic diva fairy" that sometimes stops by our home. Here are a few shots for you to see how a "stay at home for the summer designer in between vacations, two daughters starting college, son fininshing law school (living with us the month of July), daughter starting new job after graduation, attending longest yard sale on 127 corridor, trip to China, and anything else that popped up for the moment's" house looks as she prepares for the new beginnings that are right here, right now..

Organization at it's BEST!

Last but not least...my transitional laundry on the bed.

Rock Star in the Mountains - 127 Yard Sale 2010

The past few days have been action packed as we  left for the 127 yard sale..Friend and fellow Junkee Antiquer drove until 3:00 A.M. Wednesday morning as I convinced him at 12 Midnight that if he drank a Rock Star it would keep him going for another hour or so. THREE hours later we made it to Sweet Water, Tennessee and had a short three hours of sleep before we rose and shone at 6:00 am to make our our way to the almost border of Ohio to begin the search for treasures...My first purchase for the day  were vintage jewels to use with my belt buckles and necklaces...and then a concrete pig...bottles to use for christmas decor...buttons....more jewels...shabby table...wicker table....and the list goes on and on....I had more plastic bags in the back of the expedition than I do in my pantry after a grocery shopping episode..Enjoy some of the pics that I captured along the way..
